@GeoWing2 ok, well michael jackson played rock, pop, soul, blues, disco. i dont know. as for him being better than Elvis.. you Cant compare Legends especially Kings. both were phenomenal, im just happy to have lived in the same Century as both Michael and Elvis. in about 1000 years people will still be playing their music, and they will be like”man i give anything to live in that era” and thats why im grateful for both.

    to continue:
you can hear the differences in those songs all by the same people ie The Clash. All are different styles. Micheal’s music has no difference in style. they are all pop, I hear no difference. Just because you add a guitar or change keys doesn’t mean the song is any different it just means you added an instrument or you change keys.

No i do not “hate” Michael Jackson he is a good singer. but he is not as good as Elvis. nor did he play multiple types of music. People give him to much credit. I don’t think any of his music suck or is gay I just have a different taste in music. When people say he played multiple types of music. I want to hear it.
Example. Joe Strummer played punk, reggae, funk, rock, etc.
Example for Strummers music, I’m So Bored With the USA, Revolution Rock, Overpowered by Funk,

@GeoWing2 obviously you just hate michael jackson which is fine. i dont care..but its sad because even if theyre was a heavy metal song that mj did you’ll just be..its sucks or its gay… your comment is funny, though..all i gotta say is that in Beat It he got Eddie Van Halen to play guitar..And That’s fucking Legendary. or r u gonna tell me that song sucks because it just pop not rock and pop is dumb..i dont know why they call MJ the King of pop..his music aint even Pop its..Just unique.

  5. @1thelizardking
“sticking feathers up your ass dose not make you a chicken”. the same goes for putting a guitar track on the chorus and end of a song does not make it heavy metal. it makes it rock at best and not even good rock.

  6. 1thelizardking

@GeoWing2 Dirty Diana is heavy metal.!

  7. @eleiordache
whatever works i guess, I’m just not a fan of pop music.

  8. @GeoWing2
    yes sory

  9. @GeoWing2
i know…that’s way i love elvis too, …my 2 fav. are return to sender, suspicios minds…and i love his mouth :) ) great artists tried everything, and michael tried too, so they 2 are called the kings of…, but only god could be the king of music

  10. @GeoWing2
Way down ( gospel), that’s all right( country/ Memphis blues), Rock-a-hula baby ( Hawaiian), jail house Rock(Rock ‘n’ roll) I mean elvis did so many types, he played mainly rock but he wouldn’t stay to rock, he tried everything.

  11. @eleiordache
I mean yes this is a good list but wheres the punk and metal from micheal, i mean elvis did music from all over the world, every type. I would think in the late 70’s and 80’s when punk and metal were at their strongest mj would have done one or two. Elvis has songs from wooden heart ( german polka) to blue suede shoes ( punk), Hound dog ( rockabilly), Heartbreak hotel ( delta blues), Its now or never ( bossa nova), Kentucky Rain ( ballad), love me tender ( love song)

  12. @eleiordache
    rape? do you mean rap.

  13. @GeoWing2

junkie (funk-rock); earth song, childhood, (operatic); cry, break of down, speechless, butterflies,(urban soul); 2000 watts, heartbreaker, invincible
(hip hop, R&B)….also he wrote charities song like we are the world, heal the world, man in the mirror, what more can i give..

  14. @GeoWing2

yes michael have songs like billie jean, wanna be startin’,( funk); baby be mine, P.Y.T (disco); beat it, dirty diana, black or white (rock); smooth criminal, dangerous ( rape) i just can’t stop loving you, man in the miror, (ballads); jam, remember the time, (jack swing); will you be there (pop-gospel); scream, tabloid

  15. @eleiordache
I can understand your opinion. but i have one question. you say that micheal wrote all kinds of music. can you point to micheal’s metal songs and punk songs, I only ask because Elvis sang songs from all different styles, anything that was big during his time he wrote a song in said style. Like i said i don’t mind your opinion. its just when people tell me MJ wrote many types of songs i only get pop songs.

  16. @MJafro making a cool commercial does not qualify someone to be a great artist. commercials are manufactored by companies. not artists.

  17. @GeoWing2
ok you call elvis in that way…and and i call michael the same because he wrote most of his songs (and elvis no)…and he was a good writter…and he could make all kind of music…

  18. @GeoWing2
Don’t get me wrong I love the Jazz and Blues artist of today but they are nothing compared to the greats like Cab Calloway, Booker T, Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, Louis Jordan, Louie Armstrong, etc. But I digress, I call Elvis the king because I think rock is better than pop anyone can make music on a computer but it takes skill to play it on instruments. That’s my opinion. So who is the best example of Rock ‘n’ Roll and good music in general. I would say Elvis Presley.

  19. @eleiordache
Yes I do call Elvis Presley “The King”. Because that is what he is refereed as in music history. When you say “The King” the majority thinks Elvis. Technically I call him the king because I think Rock ‘n’ Roll (sub genres being, rock, metal, punk, psychedelic, industrial, outlaw, new wave, etc) is the only music still alive that is any good, I love blues, jazz, swing, and big band but the age of jazz and blue is gone, it shouldn’t be, but it is.

  20. @mardalswar
yes …you could predicted…because maybe you will not live to much..

so i if you say this name “Michael Jackson” it means that you know

    i am so sick

  21. @GeoWing2
yes you are right, i heard about them …and Elvis too, i guess…and like you said before about Michael, is the same thing if Obama lived in Elvis era then he wouldn’t be the president …but i love Elvis too, my mom is a big fan of Elvis…

I would like to know from you what did elvis and michael didn’t…so you call elvis “the king” and not the king of rock and roll…be onest

  22. @GeoWing2
    finally:
I’m not saying the race barrier is not real I’m saying its bullshit because it never should have been there in the first place.

  23. @GeoWing2
The reason we call Elvis king is because he changed the music industry, before him there were just four guys on stage singing and snapping fingers, that was it. Elvis came along and moved Blues to the full front front of the industry. blues gave rise to rock’n'roll. Which is why Elvis is the king of rock ‘n’ roll. Rock gave rise to metal, pop, punk, grunge, new wave, disco etc.

  24. @eleiordache
What the fuck are you talking about? you seem to think that Michael was the first African American pop singer. so you never heard of Little Richard, Ray Charles, Chuck Barry, the temptations, etc. Damn man you most not listen to a lot of music. And Obama won the election not because of michael, he won the election because of his plans on health care, and the economy.

  25. @GeoWing2
    no you are not right,

Obama is the president of America because Michael broke the barriers…and not only in music industry and it is not “bullshit”, is real, it is history….so why you call elvis “the king” ? tell me the real reason
